Welcome to my Home Page. This page holds my family tree, which will be updated frequently. I have based my links on our first ancestors that arrived in North America from their home lands. As I find more surnames I will add pages.

If you see someone you know, let me know. If you have information on someone, please share it with me. I have a lot of information on the Laughlen, Davy, Glendenning, Hyde and Thomson lines, but the Burgess and Farrer lines need much more work. Please note that some pages are very large and take time to load.

I am presently researching my Burgess, Purchase, Shannon, Goldring and Scrivens line. The Scrivens are starting to bug me!!!!

The full works of Dr. E. Ross Laughlin published in 1955, is now included in my Laughlen line. I have tried to source what I can, but most of this information was gathered by letter and interview and would of been lost for ever if it wasn't written down and shared by Dr. Laughlin. (Boy was that a lot of work)

I am presently working on inputting and sourcing the complete works of Hyde Genealogy, by Reuben Hyde Walworth published in 1864. I am thinking of including the works of Ethel MacPherson. She had published her book "Descendants of David and Mary Thomson" in 1958. I am looking for a copy of this book.

Please not that at this moment I am not doing research, I will be in the fall. I now offer my services for research in Ontario. I have had many people request help, and due to the time demands and cost, I now have started charging for my time and resources. Please see the following page for fees and services. I have structured the fees to be affordable. No results... no charge. I do not charge for information on my family tree.

Over the years many family members have offered to help with the never ending cost of this family tree, (web hosting, documentation etc.), and I have always refused. But as this project continues to grow and our desirer to have documentation on what we can, I have decided to change my mind. Please don’t feel that you have too, only if you want to. I will always share the information about our ancestors with you. With your updates and support; this evolving family tree will live forever.
