Hyde page 424 of R. H. Walworth's "Descendents of William Hyde" (I have a copy)to the present. Proof was needed for membership into "The Sons of the American Revolution Society. Your post (ID:106041)on William Hyde is of great interest to me as we have some different dates etc. I had him born in 1595 not 1605 and am not sure where I picked up that date. I didn't have a second wife which is nice to learn as the Able family has married into the Hyde family several times. The Mormon church has William"s father as Sir Robert Hyde and the name is carried back to King William days in about 1180.
